The Noble Cause Foundation

The Noble Cause Foundation

The Noble Cause Foundation, whose motto is to "Protect and Preserve the Legacy of the Greatest Generation". The founder is Cornell Iliescu of Costa Mesa, Ca. Cornell, who is now 78 years young, has been dancing in parades for over 19 years! Since 2005, the Noble Cause Foundation has been honoring and supporting the Veterans as our National Treasure.
Besides the authentic WWII military vehicles, there are the 3 Harmonettes who portray the Andrews Sisters singing their WWII hit tunes, including "I'll Be Home for Christmas". There are Stagedoor Canteen type swing dancers, including founder Cornel Iliescu, in Military or period dress to accompany the music. We hear that on occasion, General Douglas MacArthur has been known to show up in a Parade "I Shall Return"!

Besides the authentic WWII military vehicles, there is a 1939 Buick Staff Car, which was used to rescue the downed B-24 crew members during the bombing raids of the Ploesti Oil Fields in Romania, in 1942-1944, where we lost 3000 young U. S. Airmen, who are still classified as Missing in Action! The Foundation's ultimate goal is to build a monument to the 3000 young American Airmen MIA in the WWII bombing raids of the Ploesti, Romania Oil Fields.
